Week 3 and 4 in a glance

A month has passed by since i landed my feet on this beautiful city.

Loving the city, loving the weather.

Though I am still in search of meeting new friends and faces, I am grateful to have known the ones that are with me now.

Thank you. Deep from my heart.

Thrilled to be able to do the "thing" I have always wanted to do.

Music life is gooooood..

University is somewhat new to me.

A month being with it, I would say I like it.

Busy, yes. But at the same time relaxing.

Yes, I can see the irony. But you know what I mean.

Discovered really awesome bands while doing my favourite online hobby -- YouTube!

I guess life is thus far good. Hopefully it would be great.

I settled down. But still adapting.

But I gotta say, hey Brisbane, you're lovely..

Week 5 is gonna be a blast and I am so looking forward to it! Will definitely update..

Week 2: Adapting

new place, new life

Yes, finally its time for me to pack my bags and get ready to go. Let's fly and discover.. a new place, a new life!

My dream that was. A dream that i had since i was in highschool. And now, dream come true. But why don't i feel the way that it should have felt?

i guess i had been too naive, only thinking about the fun and not the responsibilities, thinking bout the parties and not the tasks, thinking about the fabulous new life and not the life with challenges.

Or perhaps i am just too optimistic, thinking that leaving my family and friends would be alright and there's not a tad thing to worry about, thinking that independence would only make me stronger, thinking that making friends would be as easy as baking a cake. (no idea where this came from)

and when i finally had it, that's where i lost it(my mind).

I am homesick.

I miss my family.

I miss my friends.

I am alone.

But can i come around? Hopefully.

week 1 in a new place : lonely.

ah.. what a lovely Saturday afternoon.. so it was only me and my computer and nothing else now. no blasting music, no idiot-box, nothing. i could hear the chirping of birds and the rustling sound made by the wind.. such a serene moment.. and a rare one too.. blame that on technology, no? i guess that's pretty ironic since i am now, literally on my computer, writing this blog. haha... :s

so i have been trying to get a new template for my blog and i have found one that i loved. HOWEVER, mission failed! i have deleted my previous template code and pasted the new one there. and when i clicked "Preview", it's just a white background with words so close to each other it gave me a headache. On top of that, i think i accidentally deleted my "Followers" Tab and I can't find my Page Elements Tab in my settings! S.O.S.. Help, anyone?

Tough luck, Sabrina, your blogs are just not working out for you.. :(

YES... in the late afternoon, i have got two signed leaflets and a medium-sized tennis ball by the one and only Margaret Court Smith! YES! THE LEGENDARY MARGARET COURT SMITH.. how cool was that? i am gonna put em' up on ebay soon.. haha.. i kid i kid.. so yea, i went to see her along with my dad and my brother.. friggin awesome!

Although she's 69 years old, but dayumm, she is as fit as she was 40 years ago! She was so good while playing with one of our tennis coaches.. it was such an honor just to see her play.. She had won 62 grandslam titles!(24 singles title, 19 women's doubles and 19 mixed doubles) 62??! OH MY! she's amazing.. =) and did i mention she's Australian? wooo!!! =D sorry but i can only upload the photos in my next blog.. i haven't save em' in my computer and i hadn't had the time to do so... =( oh well..

anyway... gotta catch my ANTM Cycle 13 now.. i am starting to like ANTM again.. though the previous cycles were blah... :s

Hi Peeps!

Ok i have no idea how many times(due to umpteen times of failed attempts to recreate my blog HA!) i had said this.. but i am back! The last time i tried to revive my blog i did it on window live space, yes, i could post blogs , but no, i could not upload photos, nor could i play music there.. i did the same to my xanga blog and apparently there were technical problems with that too... (my fate with blogging=not good)hence, i figured the best blogging site would still be blogger/blogspot! and hopefully this works!! hehehehe...

tonight is just a typical wednesday night, chilling in my room, listening to some very catchy revived-80's-electropop/dance music.. who could have sung it better than The Veronicas, my new love..? talented and gorgeous Aussie twins i shall say.. and dang, their live performances are awesomeeee!! if you're into that kind of music, check em' out, buy their album "Hook Me Up" now!!!

ah.. and for those who knows me well, you know who my other (music) lovers are, yes! Tegan and Sara! (they're twins too, haha, i just love twins don't I?) I can't wait for the release of their newest album I am so thrilled! Ah.. must grab a piece of "Sainthood"! Hopefully they will tour Australia so i gotta see them live! This is going into my bucket list. This indie band is just too awesome live... Beautiful voices, down-to-earth, and did i mention how funny they are? Canadians = comedians.. yes, it is so true(and it rhymes too! ok that's a lame joke.. lol). Truly one of a kind. =D LOVE EM'!

Sainthood

Mind me, i am a music freak.. :s

Alright, a little bit of highlight about last nite. O.M.G. great night! Jocelyn "Jose" and Chicky and I were having a karaoke session in KK Box in Karamunsing and it was friggin awesomeee!!!! Not to mention how little we had to pay for such long hours of singing and screaming haha! Jo and I literally screamed our lungs out, especially to "Untouched" by The Veronicas. We're later joined by Renee, Pei Li, Sharon C and Samantha Liew. We had so much fun! Hence, we decided to have a karaoke jam session every week. How cool is that?? =D

Can't wait!!

Ah, i guess that's my first post in many months! hehe... will try to update more when i have the time..
